Anna Rudolph

a singer-songwriter of roots, blues, Americana, grew up in Texas, and now residing in Placitas, New Mexico. Anna began writing, playing and singing in 2012, and in 2013, was nominated for her first of fifteen nominations and two wins for a New Mexico Music Award  (2017 and 2022).  Since her songwriting began, she has released six original albums, all available online at most music outlets.  The most recent album, The Other Side, was released December, 19, 2023 and has received two nominations for New Mexico Music Awards.

 

Anna has played in venues across New Mexico including the El Morro Theater in Gallup and the New Mexico State Fair.  She has had performance radio interviews with 99.9 Placitas Radio and KTRC /Radio Santa Fe on the Art Fusion program.  She has also taught her own songwriting course at the Placitas Community Library.

Anna has worked with Grammy Award winning producer/guitarist, Larry Mitchell, since 2017.  He produced music for her last three CDs, Darkest Angel, xoxo and Secrets are Forever.   Anna also recorded with Ron Crowder, local award winning songwriter, musician and producer.   SECRETS ARE FOREVER was released 12/31/2021 and is available now on most streaming and download sites.  Two additional singles were released in 2022.

 

 Anna has just completed recording her sixth album, The Other Side,  at the Kitchen Sink Studio in Santa Fe.  

Anna was an artist within the Art of the Song Standing ‘O Project, a popular NPR program and streaming platform, regretfully now retired from NPR. She is also an artist on Women of Substance Podcasts/Radio, Spotify and other streaming sites. Since 2017, she has had three songs receive honorable mention awards in the international songwriting contest, Songdoor.  In 2022, she received two Bronze medals in the Global Music Awards and a finalist nomination and one win for her song, "One Two Three" in the New Mexico Music Awards.

Currently, Anna has begun hosting a one hour, weekly radio show on local Placitas radio, KUPR, 99.9, with a focus on women's music and art, called "Chasing the Muse."  See her under the talent section at KUPR.org.
